My first small demo-attempt at making a visual novel.

(There are multiple endings,  depending on choice. I hope it being bite-sized made replayability more friendly)

Blind Date: Saria is a little story about.. a blind date with a girl called Saria (go figure :])

I put more emphasis on the idea of having some freedom of choice, and if received well then I would like to either turn the demo into a full novel, with multiple characters and scenarios + many more choices which can change the story drastically, or I would like to try making another.. maybe an RPG next time.

Sorry in advance for the basic character designs, I'll make sure they are better in the next one.

Feedback and criticism is equally appreciated, I would love to see if it's worth continuing to build on this style.

EDIT: I noticed that the text box style has made some text kiiind of hard to read, if it's too big of a distraction I will change it.

Hey, just gave it a short playthrough. Here's some feedback. The writing is great, and I'm not gonna talk about assets because as a fellow game designer, I know how it is lol. The only thing I can say that needs fixing is the transitions. You use 'with fade' when characters change expressions, but it would look a lot more clean if you used 'with dissolve' for expression changes or no transition at all. Fade is best used when bringing a character into a scene or taking them out.

Keep up the good work, and if you don't mind, check out my profile and give me some feedback on the demo for my game I'm working on. It's download only on pc btw.

Thank you for the feedback! Of course I'll try out your work, thank you for sharing it!

I'm really happy you liked my writing style, and I hope you'll be happily informed that after this little project I committed to using entirely original assets for my VNs (however bad they may be T_T). Monosoul is my first original, and I'm currently working on another!

Thank you for your advice too, I'll try to incorporate different transitions for the upcoming project and see how that turns out :>

EDIT 2: I changed the text box style back to a very basic look, this is how it looked before, if you were wondering.. Despite it not looking as good, and kind of blocking more, I hope the current one is better overall.
